The march to Nepal continues

Hey all,
Well, not much to report this week, it’s been pretty quiet since returning from Thanksgiving festivities in Buffalo. We’ve begun a pretty strict cardio workout regime for the month of December – four weeks of running, with each week increasing in miles and speed. Then in January, we start the real deal with some weight training and a series of White Mountain snowshoe hikes on tap.
The next event is the Londonderry Millennium Mile on Dec. 27. It’s a one-way, mostly down hill, one-mile sprint that attracts a huge crowd. It’s a pretty nutty race – you have to work hard to just not get run over by stampeding hard-core runners!
Here’s a link:
This Saturday is the Manchester Holiday Parade, and both of us will be marching – Dan with Hippo Press and Meena with Manchester Moves, so we’ll have some cool shots of that. Hard to believe it’s December already.
Anyway, we’d love to hear from you – let us know what you’re all up to!

In the meantime, here’s a picture of a mural from near Dan’s old neighborhood in Buffalo. Unfortunately, the restaurant has gone out off business and the wall painted over. A real loss if you ask us!

Congratulations on all the big plans!

It's the things that go wrong that you remember. And with all you're aiming to do, you're bound to come out of it with a ton of lasting memories.

Heck, it's already started with Jody Reese's dry cleaning bill.

  2. Thanks Jeff, boy that's the truth! Hopefully, you can join us on some of our training hikes. That should assure that plenty goes wrong! ha ha!
