Yak sizzlers and other oddball things

Happy weekend all. We thought we’d sign out before the weekend fun with this photo we found of the menu at the Himalayan Lodge in Namche Bazaar. With luck, this is where we’ll be staying for our first acclimatization day on our trek. And based on this menu, we’ll be eating here too! This weekend, M and D will make their final scouting hike up to the Greenleaf Hut and on to Mt. Lafayette before the ceremony over Labor Day. This time, we’ll take the Old Bridal Path and take pictures for the team to look over before the hike. It’ll be nice to reacquaint ourselves with this beautiful route and wonderful mountain.

The corn flakes and fruit mix got my attention..

Wow, now that's a menu…I wonder what “Himalayan Glacier Melt” could be?? Maybe it's just water or maybe it's ice cream!

  5. Thanks Mary and Chris! Well, one thing for sure, we're going to be so hungry, pretty much anything should taste good! 🙂
