Today is your day! Your mountain is waiting. So…get on your way!
Any guesses on who said that?
Well, we’re about to get on our way. Our final push to the 48 begins tomorrow morning with an attempt on Mt. Moosilauke. The campaign, with a little luck, will conclude next Friday, in the Waterville Valley after a hike up Mt. Tecumseh.
I’ll report back each day, of course, and we’re far from finishing this thing. Campaigns like this begin as fundraisers, or physical or mental challenges, or as dares, but they always become pilgrimages. As has our September 48.
And now, with a clear path to the finish line, Meena and I are going put everything we have left into finishing this project, which has become bigger than us. Most pilgrimages are like that – bigger than us.
Below is our potential itinerary. As always, it is flexible and if anyone has any interest in tackling any of this with us, please write ahead of time to let us know.
Thanks for your well wishes, support, kind words and encouragement.
