Join us for a slide show and presentation on the September 48 Campaign

Hello supporters!

Just a quick note to give you the times and info for our upcoming presentations. Keep in mind that both these events are free and open to students of the Learning Center, pledgers, sponsors and supporters.

Here is the schedule:

Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 12:30 pm – Slide show for Learning Center students. This presentation will be for students of the Learning Center, but any sponsors or pledgers who can’t make the evening presentation are welcome to come. A translator will be on hand to help the students. This event will be about an hour.

Wednesday, Nov. 9 at 6 pm – Slide show, presentation, snacks and displays for sponsors, pledgers and supporters.  From 6-6:30, snacks will be available as well as a collection of hiking gear used in the campaign and pictures of the summits. The slide show and presentation will begin at 6:30 and last approximately one hour. We’ll wrap up the evening with a Q & A, also some raffles and door prizes. This event will go until about 8 p.m. We may have some other surprises as well!

The presentation will focus on the landscapes, weather and other challenges faced by Dan and Meena along the way toward hiking all 48 4,000 footers in 20 days.
